April and May BJP done!!
Well I finished May and took a good picture of April finally.
Here is April. It is kind of abstract. I wanted to just follow the lines in the fabric and play off the colors in the fabric So here is what I came up with.
Here is May. I just got done with the Quilters Puzzle quilt and was still in the black and red mood.

Something is finaly done...some are part of the way done
I sat down saturday and worked on the puzzle quilt and I want to add another border, but not a printed fabric. I have a printed fabric for the binding.
I also finished March's Bead Journal Project. I wanted to work with yellow and green beads. In late March is when the Daffodils start to bloom so I thought this would be a great March peice.
Here are January, February, and March peices put together to make the first of four tumbling blocks.
I also got on a beading roll and did Aprils, but I need to take a better picture of it. That will be posted on a later date. Mom and I went to Silverdale on Thursday and did some shopping, she was a bad influence on me. She made me spend money at one of the fabric stores...ugh! I try not to buy unless I have a project to do, but they had some nice batik on the 30% off rack. I was only going to by 1 yard of it but mom coned me in to buying 1.5 yards of it and 4 coordinating batiks to go with it. Now my brain is trying to find a pattern that I want to use it in. Dang that Mom...lol...

Bees and quilts
This cute litte bee was a weekend project. I deffinatly will be making more bees....bbbbzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzbbbbzzzzzzz
I might just have to make a bee hive wall hanging for them to hang out on.
This is a charity quilt top. going to mom's this weekend to quilt it. It was way easy to make.Downy has partnered with Quilts for Kids to provide quilts for children recovering in hospitals. They send you all the parts but the batting, you make it and send it back.
This is the Winter Swap block that I sent to the Netherlands. This is only the top, I embellished it with snow flakes and used silver metalic thread to quilt it.

February Bead Journal Project and other stuff
Here is my February page. After ripping it out two times, and figuring out what I liked and did not like I came up with this. I love the the color combonation. There are elements that I like and there are elements that I really like.
So (or I can say sew) last weekend I went to the Sew Expo at the Puyallup Fairgounds with my Mom. Believe it or not I did not buy any fabric there. The fabric pictured is from a store we visited in Puyallup. Franc's daughter requested a quilt for her birthday. This is the fabric I have choosen for it.
I did buy one pound of Czech buttons, a strand of FW pearls and some mother of pearl cabs at the show. We went to Quality Sewing (it was next door to the fabric shop) and I got some more bobbins and a 1/4 inch foot with a guide for my machine.

Quilty stuff
Here is the Fall inspired wall hanging I did for the Quilting bloggers swap. I had an idea to do a two sided wallhanging. On one side Halloween and on the other Thanksgiving/fall colors.
Here is the oppisite side. I like how it turned out and more importantly the lady who received it likes it too.
This is the wall hanging that I received. I love the fall colors and the leaves. She did a great job quilting it to.
I just signed up for the "winter" inspired wall hanging. Looking forward to what I come up with.

January Bead Journal Project
Here is my January BJP. I kept it simple for the first month. The lime green fabric was in desperate need of some hot pink beads.

a year of pictures
Well another year is over, and I am ready to start a new one. Getting ready for new things and projects. I have one "fall" wall hanging swap I need to finish, and I have joined the Bead Journal Project 3. I am hoping to hone my skills of bead embroidery.
I will keep you all posted better than before I promise. My procrastination gets the better of me sometimes.
